Budget Plus Removals offer a moving service for your home or business anywhere in Europe.
How is it decided what size vehicle to use for my move and who decides this?
From the information you give us about the size of your property, we decide which one of our vehicles to send for your move. We provide either a 3.5 tonne truck which would normally fit anything from a 1 bedroom to a small 3 bedroom house. Or a 7.5 truck which would fit anything from a 3bedroom house to a 4 bedroom house. We also have a 10 tonne truck which can be sent for large houses or houses with excess amounts of large furniture/garden furniture.

1 bed Flat/House 3.5 tonne
2 bed Flat/House 3.5 tonne or 7.5 tonne lorry
3 bed Flat/House 7.5 tonne lorry
4 bed Flat/House Larger vehicles
These are typical guidelines and can change dependent on the goods being moved.
What insurance does Budget offer? And what does this cover?
Our standard insurance covers your goods to a value of £30,000; this covers your goods throughout the removal. Beware of companies offering goods in transit cover only, this will only cover the goods while they are being transported, if the removals people damage items at your property this is not covered.
What do i do if i need to make a claim?
In the unfortunate event of damage to your goods, claims can be made by filling out the claims form we will send you and posting it back to us. Our claims handler will arrange a time to visit your premises and access the damage if necessary; this is reported to our insurance companies who carry out compensation for the claim.
Do you disconnect/dismantle electrical good/wardrobes?
It is strictly prohibited for our staff to disconnect washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers or fridge/freezers. These should be disconnected/drained and prepared for move prior to your moving day.
However we can dismantle beds, wardrobes ect. If required and previously stated.
How do you pack my clothes?
We can supply the wardrobe boxes, which makes it easy to move closes on hangers without having to take them off hangers and getting them creased.
When will my removal start?
On the day of your move we will aim to be with you between 9am-10am unless an earlier or later time is previously agreed.
How do i pay?
We take 50% of the payment by a card transaction as a booking fee when you make your booking and the remaining 50% in cash is collected on the day of your move. This booking fee is not an extra charge.
